Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m)
Day 02: Fly from Kathmandu to Biratnagar (80m/40 min) & Drive to Basantapur (2200m/4 hrs/125 km approx.)
Day 03: Drive to Tinjure Danda (3000m/25 min/5 km) & Back to Basantapur (2,200 m)
Day 04: Drive from Basantapur to Janakpur (74m/7–8 hrs/268 km approx.)
Day 05: Janakpur Sightseeing & Fly to Kathmandu (1400m/30 min)

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. Meet by Marron representative and transfer to your hotel.
Take a morning Flight scenic flight to Biratnagar. Upon arrival board a private jeep and drive to Basantapur winding through the fertile plains of the Terai into the lush, rolling hills of the Mahabharat range. Reach Basantapur, a charming hill station and the gateway to the "Rhododendron Capital."
In the morning drive toward the Tinjure Danda ridge witnessing a sea of red, pink, and white as 28+ species of rhododendrons bloom. From the Tinjure viewpoint, witness a spectacular of Mt. Makalu (8,463m), and Mt. Kanchenjunga (8,586m). Take a gentle hike back through the forest to soak in the biodiversity before driving back to Basantapur.
Today drive from the cool hills of Tehrathum back to the warm, flat plains of the Terai. The scenery shifts from terraced hills to vast rice paddies and orchards as you enter the ancient Mithila Kingdom. Reach Janakpur, the birthplace of Goddess Sita, in the late afternoon.
In the morning visit Janaki Mandir- a stunning white marble temple, Vivah Mandap- the sacred spot where the divine marriage of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita is said to have taken place, Dhanush Sagar & Ganga Sagar- holy ponds located near the temple complex. Take an afternoon flight back to Kathmandu. In the evening is farwell dinner with cultural show.
