Festival tours

Bhutan festivals known as tshechus are the most vibrant cultural festivals celebrated in different locations in Bhutan. These festivals attract locals and visitors from around the world which offers a glimpse into Bhutanese culture, traditions, and religion. 

Festivals in Bhutan occur almost all around the year but the most popular, important and the biggest are Paro Tshechu, Thimphu Tshechu, Punakha Tshechu, Jambay Lhakhang Drup, Black-necked Crane Festival.

Locals attend these festivals with their finest dress code during these festivals and head to the dzongs where celebrations are held.  Celebration activities include colorful mask dances perform by monks, seeking blessings from the Gods. A huge thangka (religious scroll painting) is unfurled at the festival end.
