Day 01: Arrival Paro (2250m) – Thimphu (2350m/1 hr)
Day 02: Thimphu – Punakha (1310m/3 hrs)
Day 03: Day Excursion to Gangtey (2890m) & back to Punakha (1310m/6-7 hrs)
Day 04: Punakha - Paro (2250m/4-5 hrs)
Day 05: Paro – Hike to Taktsang Monastery ‘Tiger’s Nest’ (3120m/5 hrs)
Day 06: Paro depart
Arrive at Paro International Airport in Bhutan with direct flights from cities like Kathmandu, Bangkok, New Delhi. Upon your arrival in Paro, you will be greeted by the captivating landscapes of Bhutan. After completing the necessary arrival procedures, you will be transferred to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. Take the opportunity to explore the city, visit local attractions, and immerse yourself in the Bhutanese culture.
Leave Thimphu and embark on a scenic drive to Punakha, nestled in the fertile valleys of Bhutan. En route, you will pass through breathtaking landscapes, including the dramatic Dochula Pass. In Punakha, visit the historic Punakha Dzong and enjoy the tranquility of this picturesque town.
Drive to Gangtey 'Phobjikha Valley', one of the beautiful valleys in Bhutan. Visit the Gangtey Monastery and Gangtey Nature Trail. Then back to Punakha.
Trace the same route back to Paro passing over Dochula pass and return to Paro.
Prepare for an extraordinary adventure as you hike to the world-famous Taktsang Monastery, also known as the Tiger’s Nest. Trek through pine forests and steep trails to reach the monastery, perched precariously on a cliff. Take in the breathtaking views and soak in the spiritual atmosphere of this sacred site. Descend back to Paro and spend the night.
