Trusli gets the fame for the culturally stimulating and exciting river trips it offers. Rafting along its challenging rapids like Twin Rock, Ladies Delight and Scout Upset is thoroughly pulsating! During this professionally organized short river trip, you journey through the most scenic and secluded miles, featuring the incredible rapids of the thundering turquoise water that cuts through contrasting landscapes and breath-taking alpine vista. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, a representative from Marron Treks will receive and transfer you to your hotel. After you are greeted with welcome drinks at the hotel, we will have a quick meeting to discuss on the necessary formalities regarding your trip. You can then check in to your room, freshen up and rest. Or if you are not one of those “lay back” types, you can take a stroll around the vicinity of your hotel and get the feel of this hyperactive capital city of Nepal. On the streets, people seem to be on sheer rush, barely noticing one another, but if you utter “Namaste”, they will definitely reciprocate with a smile! Well, that’s Nepal’s Nepalese for you. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu; breakfast included.
Day 02: Kathmandu city sightseeing and trip preparation
Short stroll in the evening yesterday might not have acquainted you to Kathmandu. So we want to make sure that you know this city like you know yourself. Once done with your breakfast, let’s hop in to our reserved vehicle and then head on for a comfy ride with one of our experienced city guides. You will be visiting the most renowned historical/cultural landmarks in Kathmandu. Our guide will take you to the Pasupatinath Temple (the most revered Hindu shrine), Swayambunath (the Monkey Temple) and Kathmandu (Basantapur) Durbar Square. All these sites are enlisted in the UNESCO world’s heritage list. After this informative and interesting tour, we drive back through the busy and noisy streets of Kathmandu to the serene premises of your hotel. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu; breakfast included.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Charaundi & raft from Charaundi to Kurintar
After a succulent breakfast at the hotel, we head on for an approx. 4 hours' drive to Charaundi, our "raft put-in point". We attend a short briefing from a river expert and then gear up for the real action. Abiding by the instructions of our river guide, we venture into the Trishuli River, portraying ourselves mettlesome enough to surmount any menacing rapid we encounter ahead. The day's trip wraps up at Kurintar. We set up a camp at one of the finest locations, on the bank of the roaring Trishuli. Overnight at tent in Kurintar; breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 04: Raft from Kurintar to Simaltar
On this last day of our short rafting trip, we consistently battle the challenging rapids like- Twin Rock, Ladies' Delight and Scout Upset, until we finally arrive at Simaltar, where this pulsating water fiesta concludes. We set up a camp by the side of the river and take a short stroll witnessing the fascinating environ. In the evening, we all gather up for a bonfire and then let ourselves into some singing and dancing, just to celebrate the successful accomplishment of our trip. Roaring River, ecstatic team mates and a bonfire under the canopy of night sky dotted with twinkling gems...all make our celebration utterly special. Overnight at tent in Simaltar; breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 05: Drive from Simaltar to Kathmandu
After an early breakfast in the pristine riverside milieu, we set off for a drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your designated hotel, where you can freshen up and relax for some time. You would probably want to spend the remaining time shopping souvenirs. Thamel is the place which is literally crammed with the souvenir stores. Pick something for your loved ones because they would certainly expect a bit more than just your interesting trip anecdotes, when you get back home.
The fun is not yet over, as we have saved the best for the last! In the evening, Marron Treks will host a full fledged Nepali style farewell dinner. Enjoy the mouth watering range of traditional Nepali cuisines, simultaneously relishing an enticing cultural show, being performed live, right in front of you. Enjoy to the fullest and sleep tight. Day 06: Final departure to your homeland
Unless you intend to extend your trip to try out some of our other hoilday packages, this would be your last day in Nepal. A representative from Marron Treks will escort you to the Tribhuwan International Aiport for your flight back home. We are definitely going to miss you because you had come here as a tourist, but you are going back as a friend!

Personal Spending
You will not get many things around the river as no such items are available except Cigratees, Chocolates etc.Therefore it will be better if you bring a few refreshments for your personal use.

Useful Tips
We need to have the heavy breakfast before heading towards the river.You have to paddle hard along with the other members.During Rafting we are atleast for 4 hours on the water so it is necessray if you follow all the instruction given by the leader or guides.
Travel Insurance
Before starting your journey with MarronTreks it is advised that you arrange your travel insurance before leaving your homeland. The main thing is to make sure your insurance covers you for both medical and evacuation costs. In some places it is not necessary but it would be better if you have the travel insurance with you all the time. That would make your trip safe and hassle free.
