Trusli gets the fame for the culturally stimulating and exciting river trips it offers.  Rafting along its challenging rapids like Twin Rock, Ladies Delight and Scout Upset is thoroughly pulsating! During this professionally organized short river trip, you journey through the most scenic and secluded miles, featuring the incredible rapids of the thundering turquoise water that cuts through contrasting landscapes and breath-taking alpine vista. You can also get to enjoy the riverside camping and some hilarious off-river activities. Rafting at Trisuli during the monsoon is something out of this world as the thrill is at its hype! Better done than said, experience the tantrums of the tantalizing Trisuli, all by yourself!!

  • Drive from Kathmandu to Malekhu / Raft from Malekhu to Majimtar/ Riverside camping at Majimtar.

The itinerary prescribed above is the standard template of the trip plan offered by Marron Treks which can be readily customized to match the guests’ preferences. However, the guests are expected to understand that the execution of the trip plan might be circumvented by an array of uncontrollable factors like bad weather, political turmoil, strikes, blockades and other unforeseen contingencies. Kathmandu, the busy and flamboyant capital city of Nepal.Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon your arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, a representative from Marron Treks will receive and transfer you to your hotel. After you are greeted with welcome drinks at the hotel, we will have a quick meeting to discuss on the necessary formalities regarding your trip. You can then check in to your room, freshen up and rest. Or if you are not one of those “lay back” types, you can take a stroll around the vicinity of your hotel and get the feel of this hyperactive capital city of Nepal. On the streets, people seem to be on sheer rush, barely noticing one another, but if you utter “Namaste”, they will definitely reciprocate with a smile! Well, that’s Nepal’s Nepalese for you. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu; breakfast included.

 

Day 02: Kathmandu city sightseeing and trip preparationKathmandu Durbar Square, the enticing conglomeration of ancient arts and craftsmanship in Nepal.

Short stroll in the evening yesterday might not have acquainted you to Kathmandu. So we want to make sure that you know this city like you know yourself. Once done with your breakfast, let’s hop in to our reserved vehicle and then head on for a comfy ride with one of our experienced city guides. You will be visiting the most renowned historical/cultural landmarks in Kathmandu. Our guide will take you to the Pasupatinath Temple (the most revered Hindu shrine), Swayambunath (the Monkey Temple) and Kathmandu (Basantapur) Durbar Square. All these sites are enlisted in the UNESCO world’s heritage list. After this informative and interesting tour, we drive back through the busy and noisy streets of Kathmandu to the serene premises of your hotel. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu; breakfast included.
 

 

Chaurandi, the raft put in point for Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Charaundi & raft from Charaundi to Kurintar

After a succulent breakfast at the hotel, we head on for an approx. 4 hours' drive to Charaundi, our "raft put-in point". We attend a short briefing from a river expert and then gear up for the real action. Abiding by the instructions of our river guide, we venture into the Trishuli  River, portraying ourselves mettlesome enough to surmount any menacing rapid we encounter ahead. The day's trip wraps up at Kurintar. We set up a camp at one of the finest locations, on the bank of the roaring Trishuli. Overnight at tent in Kurintar; breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

 

 

Day 04: Raft from Kurintar to SimaltarSimaltar, the concluding point of

On this last day of our short rafting trip, we consistently battle the challenging rapids like- Twin Rock, Ladies' Delight and Scout Upset, until we finally arrive at Simaltar, where this pulsating water fiesta concludes. We set up a camp by the side of the river and take a short stroll witnessing the fascinating environ. In the evening, we all gather up for a bonfire and then let ourselves into some singing and dancing, just to celebrate the successful accomplishment of our trip. Roaring River, ecstatic team mates and a bonfire under the canopy of night sky dotted with twinkling gems...all make our celebration utterly special. Overnight at tent in Simaltar; breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

After an early breakfast in the pristine riverside milieu, we set off for a drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your designated hotel, where you can freshen up and relax for some time. You would probably want to spend the remaining time shopping souvenirs. Thamel is the place which is literally crammed with the souvenir stores. Pick something for your loved ones because they would certainly expect a bit more than just your interesting trip anecdotes, when you get back home.
The fun is not yet over, as we have saved the best for the last! In the evening, Marron Treks will host a full fledged Nepali style farewell dinner. Enjoy the mouth watering range of traditional Nepali cuisines, simultaneously relishing an enticing cultural show, being performed live, right in front of you.  Enjoy to the fullest and sleep tight. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu; breakfast and dinner included.

 

Day 06: Final departure to your homelandTribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Unless you intend to extend your trip to try out some of our other hoilday packages, this would be your last day in Nepal. A representative from Marron Treks will escort you to the Tribhuwan International Aiport for your flight back home. We are definitely going to miss you because you had come here as a tourist, but you are going back as a friend!

During Trishuli River Rafting we opt you accommodate in 3 star or 5 star hotels like Hotel Royal Singhi (3 star),  Hotel Manaslu (3 star), Radisson (5 star), Yak & Yeti (5 star) or similar in Kathmandu City.

 

Personal Spending

You will not get many things around the river as no such items are available except Cigratees, Chocolates etc.Therefore it will be better if you bring a few refreshments for your personal use.

Useful Tips

We need to have the heavy breakfast before heading towards the river.You have to paddle hard along with the other members.During Rafting we are atleast for 4 hours on the water so it is necessray if you follow all the instruction given by the leader or guides.

  

Travel Insurance

Before starting your journey with MarronTreks it is advised that you arrange your travel insurance before leaving your homeland. The main thing is to make sure your insurance covers you for both medical and evacuation costs. In some places it is not necessary but it would be better if you have the travel insurance with you all the time. That would make your trip safe and hassle free.

  • Airport pick-up and drop services.
  • Ground transportation as prescribed in the itinerary.
  • Hotel accommodation costs in Kathmandu on "BB" basis as per the itinerary.
  • Guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city.
  • All applicable tourist entrance, monumental and local permit fees as deemed necessary for the tour.
  • Accommodation cost during the rafting period on "full board" basis. Generally tents are set up on the beautiful milieu by riverside.
  • Necessary high quality rafting equipments like-self-bailing rafts, lifejackets, helmets, plastic paddles, wetsuits (on certain rivers), dry bag for gear, camera barrels.
  • Remunerations to rafting crew (guide, cook, helpers, etc.).
  • River permits fees.
  • Personal insurance for crew members.
  • Company’s t-shirt, cap and a day pack and duffle bag (provided as complimentary gears).
  • A comprehensive medical kit (will be carried by your accompanying guide).
  • All government and local taxes.

Cost Excludes

  • International airfare and departure taxes.
  • Personal travel insurance.
  • Lunch & dinner expenses incurred before or after the rafting period.
  • Emergency rescue evacuation (to be covered by the client's travel insurance).
  • Nepal entry visa fee – Visa can be obtained upon your arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu. (Tourist Visa with Multiple Entries for 15 days costs US $ 25 or equivalent foreign currency, Tourist Visa with Multiple Entries for 30 days and 90 days costs US $40 and $ 100 respectively. You will need a valid passport and 2 copies of your recent PP sized photos).
  • Tips to the guide, driver, kitchen staffs, helpers etc. (Tipping is expected).
  • Bar bills, alcoholic drinks & beverages.
  • Other expenses of personal nature (phone calls, laundry etc.)

  • Cost incurred due to the addition of extra days or change in the real course of the itinerary because of bad weather conditions, political turmoil or any other unforeseen contingencies like (but not limited to) natural calamities, accidents, illness, thefts, damages etc.

  • Any other expenses not mentioned in the 'Cost Includes' section above.

Generally, our guide carries the first aid kit with him, but it’s always better to have your own kit.

Generally, there are no fixed departure dates for the optional adventure like “White Water Rafting".
