Annapurna Panorama Trek also popularly known as Ghorepani Poonhill trek is a short and easy trek suitable for time bound people looking for short trip in mountains of Nepal. The maximum elevation reached during Annapurna Panorama trek is 3,210m and there is no real risk of altitude sickness which make this destination suitable for family with kids, elderly and for novice trekkers.

This trek follows one of the well-trodden routes through lust forest of rhododendrons and oaks, beautiful waterfalls and fabulous settlement of Magar and Gurung community in Ghandruk and Tadapani giving close up views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Machhapuchre and world’s deepest valley-Kaligandaki Valley. The panorama scenery of Himalayan ranges and landscape and sunrise and sunset view on the peaks of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range from the Poon Hill is the major attraction of this trek. Thus, the trekkers wake up early in the morning and walk up to a popular vantage point-Poon Hill to behold the glory of golden sunrise amidst the towering peaks of Annapurna region.

Annapurna Panorama treks last for 10 days and you won’t be spending them only walking thorough mountains in Annapurna region.You get to explore renowned sites listed in the UNESCO world’s heritage list in Kathmandu- the Pashupati Temple, Boudhanath and Kathmandu Durbar Square and beautiful lake city Pokhara. The Fewa lake, Rupa Lake, Barahi Temple, Gupteswor Cave and Davis Fall are some the major tourist attraction in Pokhara.

OUTLINE ITINERARY

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1400m)

Day 02: Kathmandu City Sightseeing (1400m)

Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m/25min)/ Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul (1010m/2hrs) & Trek from Nayapul to Tikhedhunga (1480m/4 hrs)

Day 04: Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2874m/4 - 6 hours)

Day 05: Trek from Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3210m/1 hr)/ Poonhill to Ghorepani/ Ghorepani to Tadapani (2630m/6 hrs)

Day 06: Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk (1940m/3 hrs)

Day 07: Trek from Ghandruk to Tolka (1700m/3 hrs)

Day 08: Trek from Tolka to Phedi (1130m/4 hrs) and drive from Phedi to Pokhara (830m/1hr)

Day 09: Flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1400m/25min)                               

Day 10: Final departure to your homeland!!

The Annapurna Panorama trek can be done all year around but the best time if from Jan-May and Sep-Dec.
