We are eco-tourism promoter and have faith in the existing trend of ‘Go-Green’. We also believe that the most exciting and responsible journeys are those where the travelers can blend with the milieu they travel to without manipulating or affecting its natural state. We design our itineraries and operate in the field by the principles of ecotourism and sustainable tourism. At Marron Treks, we are extremely conscious about the environment and aim to minimize our impact as much as possible and maintain high ethical standards in all our operations. Deforestation and Garbage disposal has threatened the very beauty of Himalayas. Thus, to prevent deforestation in those regions, we discourage campfires and use kerosene for cooking and we carry out all our garbage apart from that which can be safely and easily burnt at the campsite
Marron Treks contribute a portion of its sales to Himalayan Garden For Disabled & Orphan Children (HIGADOC). HIGADOC is a non-profit organization conceptualized as a healing garden for underprivileged and physically stunted children of Nepal. They work to uplift the lives of these needy children. We also occasionally provide support to schools in the remote village of Solu, Nakwanpur, Sindhupalchok, and Kavre by denoting some funds to schools and school bags for the students.
